The Chinese American Parent Association of Suzanne Middle School (Suzanne CAPA, or SMS CAPA) is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive community for Chinese American families. Our mission is to provide selfless support and enhance student life at Suzanne Middle School, with a special focus on assisting Chinese American families.

SMS CAPA is a vibrant community of parents, educators, and advocates who are passionate about the well-being and development of Chinese American children. We understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with raising children in a diverse cultural landscape, and we are here to provide guidance, support, and a sense of belonging.




















Our Mission
What Do We Do
• Student Clubs: We support and sponsor student clubs that promote cultural awareness, academic excellence, and community service. These clubs provide students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, build friendships, and engage in meaningful activities.
• Fundraising: We conduct fundraising activities to support school programs, resources, and initiatives that enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Community Service and Leadership: We organize and participate in community service projects that encourage leadership and civic responsibility among students.
• Cultural Events: We celebrate and promote cultural heritage through various events and activities that bring families together and enrich the school community.
• Educational Workshops: We offer workshops and seminars on a variety of topics, including academic support, cultural heritage, and parenting strategies.
• Resources: SMS CAPA provides access to valuable resources, including tutoring services, college preparation, and mental health support.
